XML core structure. The core structure of the Extensible Security Document Language™ is developed around the Extensible Markup Language and other related technologies. This provides a very reliable and community reviewed technology from which to generate and protect documents. +

Custom developed. We have custom built the secure document solution to be of the highest quality. To achieve this requirement the secure document solution is rendered in two(2) different formats: Novdoc and Internal. +

Novdoc. The Novdoc format is developed by Novell Inc. and is implemented for all common document generation. The Maitreya Security Data Authority utilizes the Novdoc format for all documents released. It is of the utmost quality, and provisions the best of breed document generation concepts.

Internal. The Internal format is developed by Maitreya Security and is implemented for all custom document generation. The Maitreya Security Data Authority utilizes the Internal format for all source documents for the services and solutions provided by Maitreya Security. Each service and/or solution requires a custom design structure and implementation. For this requirement, we have built a custom language and schema from the ground up to ensure that all source documents are structured and protected according to our analysts.

Standardized security mechanisms. The secure document solution may be protected by two(2) different mechanisms: XML Digital Signature and XML Encryption. +

XML Digital Signature. The XML Digital Signature mechanism is a technology by which the integrity of your data and documents may be protected. This mechanism may ensure that a specific element, a document or a manifest of documents may be protected. It is developed by the international community and is under the stewardship of the World Wide Web Consortium(W3C).

XML Encryption. The XML Encryption mechanism is a technology by which the confidentiality of your data and documents may be protected. This mechanism may ensure that a specific element, a document or a manifest of documents may be protected. It is developed by the international community and is under the stewardship of the World Wide Web Consortium(W3C).

Open source implementation. We implement the secure document solution as a vendor neutral implementation. From document generation, to document transformation, to document protection; all rendering of this solution is implemented with the best of breed open source applications. This ensures that your organization is not "locked-in" to a software maintenance cycle and that you may utilize the documents generated to the utmost of your ability.
