Maitreya Security Single Packet Authorization
The Maitreya Security Single Packet Authorization solution provides the capability to implement the passive communication of authentication information to your system and/or network. Currently, only iptables is supported by Maitreya Security. + single packet authorization features Protected footprint. A malicious inpidual(s) may utilize information such as the footprint of your system and/or network for nefarious activities. By not making a service available until a valid port knocking sequence is enacted, the service is protected against external attack. By not providing a footprint to these individual(s), this solution provides an additional layer of security to protect your organization's infrastructure. + SOA design framework. The Service-Oriented Architecture(SOA) is a group of services that communicate with each other. Within the single packet authorization solution, Maitreya Security uses simple authentication datagrams to coordinate the use of some service. Our organization utilizes this solution to further provide our other services or solutions in a protected manner. + Standardized encryption methods. The single packet authorization solution may implement two(2) different encryption methods: GnuPGP and Rijndael. + GnuPGP. The GnuPGP method is a complete and free implementation of the OpenPGP standard as defined by the Internet Engineering Task Force in RFC4880. GnuPG allows this solution to encrypt and sign the single packet authorization solution communications. Also provides a versatile key managment system as well as access modules for all kind of public key directories. Rijndael. The Rijndael method, also known as the Advanced Encryption Standard(AES), is a block cipher adopted as an encryption standard by the U.S. government. Rijndael allows this solution to encrypt the single packet authorization solution communications by use of a widely accepted algorithm to ensure compliance and compatability with your organization's other services.
