Local Community

Doing the right thing is a cornerstone value of Maitreya Security. We take a holistic view of our role and responsibilities as a company, seeking to do the right thing by our environment and by each other. We believe that sustainable growth and quality-of-life is deeply rooted in respect and responsibility and that our company can succeed only when our communities succeed. +

Our organization has envisioned many initiatives to contribute to the local community to strengthen the quality-of-life and develop a positive environment. Some may be currently implemented. Some may be simply a desire to contribute in a new and meaningful way to the local community. +

At-cost services and/or solutions for the local school system. This initiative strives to provide the local school system with the ability to enhance it's security posture. Children are the future. No more important initiative can be implemented than to provide for the protection and availability of a secure environment from which children may develop and dream. +

Law enforcement contribution. This initiative strives to provide the local law enforcement agencies with a reliable and knowledgable resource from which to utilize during child abduction and/or child pornography cases involving information technology systems. This initiative is implemented at an at-cost fee from this organization. All analysts provide their time free-of-charge as a symbol of their personal desire to contribute to this particular initiative. +

Weekly security-relevant series. This initiative strives to provide the local community with an easily accessible resource from which to glean information and direction with regards to security-relevant topics that may affect them on a daily basis. A question and answer portion will greatly enhance the interaction of the community with local television station and ensure that the community has an avenue from which to obtain information about topics that they deem relevant to their particular environments. +

Specific topic presentations. This initiative strives to provide the local community with the ability to contribute and glean meaningful information about specific topics. The presentations are implemented at many of the local establishments on a free-of-charge basis in order to further facilitate the local establishments citizenship contributions. Marketing and advertisements may be implemented to ensure community involvement and to strengthen the relationship of this contribution with purchases made by the local community during the presentations. +

Bodhisattva linux installations. This initiative strives to provide the local community with the ability to obtain a custom configured installation of our Bodhisattva Linux™ distribution. Free and reduced vouchers are made available to the local radio stations for distribution. +
